Mr. Froese is a retail industry veteran with 38 years of experience at Loblaw, Canada’s largest food retailer, with his most recent position being Chief Operating Officer prior to his short-lived retirement in April 2017. Since August 2017, Froese served as the Chief Executive Officer for Marquee Health Group, a late stage applicant under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulation (ACMPR) where he gained valuable industry experience and insight. Mr. Froese has extensive experience in supply chain management, digital/ecommerce businesses, marketing, brand management and operations management.
Andrew Kain is a lawyer by profession with almost 25 years of extensive corporate, financial and legal experience. For 15 years, he was General Counsel to a US$5+ billion global hedge fund that operated a proprietary quantitative trading platform and managed a US$2+ billion fund of funds portfolio, where he worked with investment banks, brokerage houses, exchanges and regulatory bodies in capital markets around the globe. Most recently Andrew was in private practice providing general corporate, financial and advisory services to start-up and early stage companies in emerging industries. Andrew is also a founder and President of Windular Research and Technologies Inc., a privately held corporation that provides innovative renewable energy systems, consulting and advisory services to the global telecommunications industry.
Aaron Wong is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with over 15 years of finance leadership experience with both public and private organizations. Aaron joined Harvest One in December 2017 as Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Harvest One, he held a number of key management positions in finance at Seaspan Corporation, Teekay Corporation and CHC Helicopter. Aaron also spent five years working in public practice at Ernst & Young LLP in Vancouver where he earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 2004. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and is also a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.

Deb Milimaka Miles has over 30 years of experience in finance, retail, and the technology sectors, including Loblaws where she led large scale transformation initiatives designed to drive behavior change and impact results. More recently, Deb was involved with a dynamic technology company, SMART Technologies, where she led the global HR team as the Chief People Officer and managed the administrative operations and facilities in 16 countries around the world. She has gained expertise working with Start-ups as well as being involved in global mergers and acquisitions. She’s known for building dynamic, cross functional partnerships within the Business and HR.
Mr. Maltchev is a global executive with a passion for results and building great teams. He brings a mix of strategic thinking and deep technical knowledge and over 25 years of technology experience. He has been involved with the industry since 2004 and was an integral part of the Advanced Nutrients management team over a period of 12 years, holding several positions including information technology manager, COO and general manager. Mr. Maltchev holds a BBA degree, as well as other designations in project management, cybersecurity and computer science. He is also currently in the process of finishing an MBA in management information systems.

Mr. Stewart, a well-known Canadian cannabis executive, insider and former Harvest One Board member, is a leading influencer in cannabis and worked for years in political and corporate circles pushing for legalization and reducing stigma. He was named a Top 100 Lobbyist in Canada for seven consecutive years and received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for contributions to Canadian public policy. In addition, Mr. Stewart has consulted to more than a dozen cannabis companies and was most recently Vice President at another vertically integrated cannabis company.

Jonathan holds a degree in Pharmacology and Physiology and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has over 15 years experience in the Life Sciences arena, including Discovery, Development, Clinical Trials and OTC/ Grocery retail experience, as well as transaction experience including M&A and financings. He has held key leadership positions in Pfizer Consumer Healthcare Ireland, McNeil Healthcare and Venn Life Sciences Plc.
Mr. Holler is President and CEO of Ponderosa Capital Inc. An expert in biotechnology, investment banking and venture capital, Mr. Holler previously served as CEO and Partner of Lions Capital Corp., fund manager for BC Advantage Funds and the Lions Funds; as President and CEO of Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc., a private genomics-based drug development company; as President and CEO of ID Biomedical Corporation, a vaccine development company sold to GlaxoSmithKline plc; and as a founding director of Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, a TSX/ NASDAQ listed medical device company. Before working in biotechnology and healthcare, Mr. Holler was an Investment Banker with Merrill Lynch Canada and Wood Gundy Inc. (now CIBC World Markets). Mr. Holler’s experience, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry and capital markets, strengthens the depth of expertise on the Harvest One Board.
Peter Wall is a corporate lawyer based in Perth, Western Australia and is a Partner at one of Australia’s leading corporate and commercial law firms. He was a founding director and shareholder in Phytotech Medical Limited, the first medical cannabis company to list on the Australian Securities Exchange, which subsequently was renamed “MMJ Phytotech Ltd” after a merger with MMJ Biosciences Inc.
Jason Bednar is a Chartered Accountant with more than 18 years of direct professional experience in the financial and regulatory management of companies listed on the TSX, TSX-V, American Stock Exchange and ASX.
Dr. Joseph Gabriele
Dr. Gabriele is the founder, inventor and visionary behind the Delivra™ technology. Dr. Gabriele has devoted the past twelve years to innovation, development, and commercialization activities at Delivra, and in addition to providing guidance and vision for Delivra, he actively stewards its robust R&D program. He has a doctorate in molecular pharmacology and is an Assistant Professor (PT), McMaster University, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, as well as Special Graduate Faculty, University of Guelph, Department of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Gabriele received a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, with M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from McMaster University. Dr. Gabriele’s Ph.D. training was conducted under Dr. R.K. Mishra, focusing on molecular pharmacology/neuroscience and its implications in psychiatric and neurological disorders. He has received numerous awards, including, the recipient of The Health Care EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 Award; a CIHR studentship award in pharmacology during his M.Sc. degree; an NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship during his Ph.D. training; and the International Congress on Schizophrenia Research, Young Investigator Award.
Mr. Hyde is Chief Operating Officer at Total Cannabis Security Solutions Inc., One of the country’s top security and compliance consultants, Mr. Hyde founded David Hyde & Associates Inc. which consulted on 65 Licensed Producer sites and more than 300 Licensed Producer applications to help LPs navigate security and compliance in the highly regulated legal cannabis industry. Mr. Hyde is the only Canadian member of the Security Committee for the Foundation of Cannabis Unified Standards.
